You may have heard some farmers stating that they have lambs that have been scratched with Scabine and appear not to have responded.

MSD, the company that makes the vaccine, is investigating any reports of the vaccine not working.

To date they have only identified two farms in Southland that require further investigation.

We ask that you check 20-40 lambs in each mob 7 – 10 days post vaccination to ensure that your vaccine has been effective.

If you have any concerns please call the clinic and we will pass your information on to MSD.
