We have today met with representatives of MSD AgVet ( including their vet John Moffat), makers of Scabine scabby mouth vaccine.
They have visited several farms locally to examine the response to Scabine vaccination.  They tell us their observations strongly support the efficacy of the vaccine we have been supplying to date this season.  We will be facilitating a farmer meeting with them in Otautau early next week so users of the vaccine can understand the factors affecting vaccicne efficacy and what expectations we should have during its use, including how we can expect to monitor efficacy.
